Follow the Club’s Code of Conduct
Be a role model for the Club’s Values: Enjoyment – Welcoming – Respect – Growth - Inclusivity
Support the development of teammates especially juniors
Always respect the umpires and their decisions. Thank both umpires personally at the end of every game
Learn to umpire and offer to umpire other teams (the club will support)
Support junior coaching at least once per season (1st team players)
Use Teamo proactively to show your availability for fixtures and training
Pay match fees in advance of each match - "No pay, no play!”
Take your turn to write a match report or social media post
Understand and follow the club’s Safeguarding policy and Safeguarding Commitment

Be a role model for the Player’s Charter
Call-out team members who don’t comply with the Code of Conduct or Club Values (ask for help if needed)
Support the development of teammates especially juniors
Apply the Selection Policy and proactively communicate decisions to players
Provide at least one umpire from your team for the preceding or subsequent home game
Chase up unpaid match fees promptly
Communicate club messages, events, news, requests to the team
Promote the club/team on social media e.g. match reports, photo’s, MOM (work with the SM officers)

Don’t be afraid to use green/yellow cards at the first sign of disrespect from player(s)
the Club will not tolerate disrespect towards players and will back you up if necessary
Let us know your availability to umpire as far in advance as possible

Come along and support the team
Encourage your youngster to follow the Player’s Charter
Encourage your youngster to stay for ”teas” after a fixture - part of the "Hockey Family" experience
Get involved in the Club if you have time - all volunteers are welcome: could you help with coaching, umpiring?
Give your youngster access to Teamo and help them use it proactively
Take part in race marshalling at least once a year
Join the Club as a Social Member to support the club’s finances
