Thank you to everyone who volunteered and marshalled at the Wilmslow Festive 10k race on Sunday 23rd November.

Not only did you support a popular community event, you helped raise vital funds for the club.

Special thanks to Sharon Holford and Martin Wright for organising us all!

Well done to the many club members who took part in the race itself.

We were short of hockey club volunteers for this race - many of our volunteers had to marshal alone instead of as a pair, and we had to engage the local scouts to cover some gaps too. As a result, our income from the event was less than usual.

If you weren’t able to volunteer this time, please do your best to join the next one - we need everyone to contribute to at least one of the three races every year.

The next race is the Wilmslow Running Festival on 22nd March 2026.
