Our club is registered with HMRC as a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC).
Following a review of the latest CASC regulations, the Committee is proposing some updates to the Constitution for agreement at the AGM on 18th May 2024. These updates will have no impact on members, but they will help maintain the club’s CASC compliance.
We also propose to amend the due date for membership payments from 30th Sept to 1st Sept to align with the membership year, the start of the season and insurance cover for members and the club. (NB we will retain the existing option of spreading payments over July, August and September for full adult membership.)
We welcome any comments on the proposed changes to the Constitution (attached below with commentary) by 12th May 2024. (Click one of the people below.)
