Marshalling instructions - 23rd Nov

Thank you to all those who have volunteered to marshal on Sunday!

Your role is to to give advice to runners, spectators and the general public to help ensure that the race goes ahead safely and is enjoyed by everyone.

In doing so, you are helping raise vital funds for the club!

Collect your yellow tabard in advance

  • In advance: Clubhouse entrance or Kit Room Saturday during the day.
  • In advance: Outside Sharon's house - 5 Rodeheath Close, Wilmslow, SK9 2DL from Thursday
  • On the Day: From Kings Arms or Brook Lane Roundabouts from 0800 Sunday morning
  • On the Day: Sharon and Martin will drive around the course on Sunday and will have spares and radios.

Get Ready

  • Check your assigned position on the list below - if there are any errors/omissions, let Sharon know ASAP.
  • Check your assigned position again here on Saturday in case of late changes to positions.
  • Read the medical and emergency instructions below from the race organisers.
  • Save the Medical Contact Number in your phone; 07779 302914 .
  • Radios (see below) will be distributed by Sharon and Martin at 1k intervals on the morning of the race.
  • If you are given a radio, it will be collected when you are released from your position.
  • It is therefore very important you are in position by 8:30am at the latest ! This also prevents you getting caught up in road closures.

Check marshal positions

  • Please be in position by 08:30am at the latest !
  • Position locations are identified by What3WordsClick to open or download the app.
  • Do not leave your position until told by RNW, Sharon or Martin. Don’t leave after the last runner goes past, as we have to wait until the last runner has reached the next road opening location and rubbish and water stations have been cleared.
